Waitlist Rules
Edgebrook often has a full membership during which time people interested in becoming equity members must join a waitlist. It is desired to have a fair, understandable, easily maintained waitlist procedure to expedite the wait time for membership.
Waitlist Rules
- To be placed on the waitlist, the applicant must sign a waitlist agreement and pay a non-refundable waitlist deposit of $100.
- The waitlist deposit is refundable only in the case that the applicant is denied membership to the club as deemed by the Board of Directors at their monthly meeting. If an applicant is refused membership, their waitlist deposit will be refunded and their name removed from the waitlist.
- The first applicant on the waitlist is offered a membership when one becomes available. If for any reason the applicant does not accept the membership (price, timing, injury, front desk unable to contact applicant), the applicant is moved to the bottom of the waitlist.
- If offered a membership, the applicant is expected to decide within 24 hours whether to accept or decline the offer.
- When the applicant becomes an equity member, the deposit is applied to the membership administrative fee.
- An applicant must notify Edgebrook in writing to be removed from the waitlist.
